How many players from Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 team will reach Hall of Fame?

Five players from the Denver Broncos’ first two Super Bowl wins have reached the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Four on offense (quarterback John Elway, running back Terrell Davis, tight end Shannon Sharpe and offensive lineman Gary Zimmerman) and one on defense (safety Steve Atwater).

Denver having five players from those two Super Bowl victories in the Hall of Fame got us wondering how many players from the Super Bowl 50 roster will end up in Canton.

Two players are already in: quarterback Peyton Manning was enshrined as a member of the 2021 class and pass rusher DeMarcus Ware was elected in 2023. Former Broncos pass rusher Von Miller will be a lock once he becomes eligible five years after his eventual retirement.

Retired cornerback Aqib Talib ranks fourth in NFL history with 10 interceptions returned for touchdowns in his career, but off-field incidents might prevent him from reaching the Hall of Fame.

Late Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas set a then-record with 13 receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown in Super Bowl XLVIII before later winning Super Bowl 50 two years later.

Former Denver cornerback Chris Harris made four Pro Bowls and earned three All-Pro nods. Fellow defensive back T.J. Ward was elected to three Pro Bowls and earned one All-Pro nod. Defensive lineman Derek Wolfe had an underrated career that never drew much national recognition, but he was a key member of the team’s defense that won Super Bowl 50.

Guard Evan Mathis was a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro. Receiver Emmanuel Sanders made two Pro Bowls and topped 10,000 all-purpose yards in his career.

Manning and Ware are already in and Miller is a lock, but they might end up being the Broncos’ only representatives from Super Bowl 50 to reach the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
