How Jesse Marsch will turn his Leeds United touchline ban against Aston Villa into a positive

Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch remains adamant his red card against Brentford was the incorrect decision but has not appealed the decision out of respect. The Whites' boss was fined £10,000 and will serve a touchline ban against Aston Villa this weekend after breaching FA Rule E3 in the match against the Bees.

An FA statement read: "The manager admitted that his language and behaviour during the 64th minute of that game was improper. An independent Regulatory Commission subsequently imposed his sanctions, and written reasons for them can be found below."

Marsch had been set to serve his touchline ban against Nottingham Forest but the Premier League's decision to postpone fixtures out of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's passing, meant a long wait for the American. After a month without Premier League football, Leeds will take to the Elland Road turf looking to right the wrongs from their Brentford humbling.
