Mechanic Nathan Coleman posted a viral video on Facebook showing a customer’s vehicle brought in for a simple pad replacement. The request became impossible once Coleman saw the brake rotor. This wasn’t just normal wear and tear but serious damage that could put lives at risk.
According to Motor1, Coleman wrote in the Facebook reel that the “Customer says ‘just the pads today.'” The camera shows the rotor surface is deeply worn, uneven, rough, and completely corroded. The rotor looks like it came from a sunken ship, not a recently driven car. This kind of damage takes months or even years to develop, which makes it even more concerning.
