Irish Eurovision fans will be able to get their hands on tickets to the annual song contest very soon, as details emerge on when and where you can purchase them, as well as how much they’ll cost.
It had previously been announced by the managing director of Eurovision, Martin Green, that all information on how to get tickets would be revealed at 8am on Thursday.
Mr Green, who said he had been "released from the bunker at Eurovision towers" to attend the event at Liverpool ACC, explained that there would be nine ticketed shows, which would include dress rehearsals and the semi-finals.

But, he said an arena large enough to quench the "appetite for Eurovision" does not exist and so those without tickets would be able to watch the final from home or in one of the city's bars, clubs or restaurants.
Tickets will be sold on Ticketmaster and will go on sale next week at 12pm on Tuesday, March 7.
It is understood that ticket prices will range from around €33 to €326 for the semi-final shows and from €90 to €430 for the Grand Final shows.
Eurovision fans need a Ticketmaster account before they can buy tickets - for one show at a time.
Each person will be able to buy up to four tickets per purchase for the live shows and six for the preview performances.
Around 3,000 tickets will be made available for Ukrainian refugees who fled their home country when Russian troops invaded last February, these will be subsidised by the Government and will cost €22.50.
Those who wish to attend will have to act quickly, as the event is expected to sell out almost immediately.
