Arsenal certainly had to ride their luck in their narrow 1-0 win over Leeds United. It was a huge three points for the Gunners as they continued their near faultless start to the season, but they had a few scares along the way.
Bukayo Saka gave the Gunners the lead at Elland Road after the game finally got back underway following a long delay due to a power cut, but Leeds could easily have equalised in the second.
Seconds after the half time interval, Patrick Bamford had a goal disallowed by VAR, while he then had a penalty decision overturned in the game's dying moments.

The Whites were also awarded a penalty in the 63rd minute, a decision that VAR did not overturn, which was taken by Bamford. The striker, who is without a goal this season, dragged his spot kick wide of Aaron Ramsdale's post in another huge let off for the Gunners.
A tweet from NBC Sports Soccer showed Arsenal legend Ian Wright reacting to the penalty miss. Wright was watching the game at the 'Philly Fan Fest' in Pennsylvania on a big screen with a few Gunners fans.

Sporting a Philadelphia Eagles hoodie, Wright jumped in the air, arms aloft, embracing American Gunners supporters as Bamford missed the target from 12 yards.
The likes of Alan Shearer and Tim Howard were also at the Philly Fan Fest, as fans from the other side of the Atlantic gathered to watch the day's Premier League action.
