As things heat up across Europe, Ireland is due some sunshine on Friday although not across the whole country.
The 24-hour 'heatwave' with temperatures of up to 24C is set to only really be felt in Munster and Leinster.
There will be dry, warm and sunny to start across south Leinster and south Munster.
Unfortunately things will be cloudier and cooler elsewhere with rain becoming more persistent from the northwest and sinking southeastwards.
