Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham was pretty happy with his FIFA 23 player rating, although he was left unhappy with one stat in particular.
FIFA 23 was released on Friday, September 30, 2022, with the game available to play now. The full ratings for the Liverpool squad were revealed in the build-up to the release, with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk the highest-rated players at the club.
One position that failed to impress was the Reds' midfield, with Jordan Henderson and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain both being downgraded. Fabinho and Thiago are the highest-rated midfielders at the club, while Liverpool target Bellingham received a major upgrade in FIFA 23.

The Reds are known big admirers of Bellingham, with the 19-year-old set to be in high demand this summer. If his FIFA 23 rating is anything to go by, it's clear to see why so many clubs are interested.
The England international has seen his overall rating increase by five, jumping from 79 to 84 overall - making him one of the best midfielders in the game. In a video released on the England national team's official YouTube channel, Bellingham along with Manchester City's Phil Foden, find out their FIFA 23 ratings for the first time while providing some hilarious reactions.
The video started by looking through the players' past FIFA cards, with Bellingham's first coming in FIFA 20. “I was an absolute kid," he said.
Bellingham was asked about his aggression rating of 74, which he thought was low. Someone in the background reminded Bellingham he was just 16 in FIFA 20, but he responded hilariously.
“I had it in me, GCSEs and that," Bellingham said, prompting all involved to break into laughter. In the next FIFA, Bellingham was awarded a 69 overall rating when receiving his first Ultimate Team card.
"Absolute baby,” Bellingham described himself as when looking at his picture. “I’ll take that, it’s not great, it is what it is, but there have been worst first cards.”
On FIFA 22, Bellingham received one of the biggest upgrades in the entire game after his first season at Dortmund, jumping from 69 rated to 79, a +10 boost. Despite his major increase, there was one stat that really got under his skin.
“Here, now here’s where it gets mad. How am I getting slower? I’m still growing! You reckon the beard’s slowing me down,” Bellingham says jokingly.
“It’s not amazing but it’s usable. Shooting is still a bit dead, but the rest of it I’m happy with.” For FIFA 23, Bellingham's upgrade took him to 84 rated, but again, there was that one stat that he couldn't get his head around.
"How have I got slower? How’ve I got slower and not got faster,” Bellingham pleaded.
“Got to take it you know what I mean. 75 isn’t that slow. But, how can I get slower? I’m a growing boy! I should be getting faster.”
Finally, as the video ended, Bellingham was asked what his overall thoughts were on his FIFA 23 card. “Pace, come on. Passing - a bit more generous, but the rest, thank you very much."
Bellingham became the youngest captain in Bundesliga history last weekend as he captained Dortmund in their 3-2 defeat against Koln. If Liverpool could get their hands on the England international next summer, he could be a stunning addition.
