Manchester United got out of jail with a late, late winner at Fulham on Sunday.
The decision to bring on Alejandro Garnacho off the bench, with just under 20 minutes left, proved a masterstroke with the young Argentine registering his maiden United goal.
It sealed a 2-1 win that sees Erik ten Hag's side end on a high ahead of the World Cup winter break.
Garnacho has made a big impression since being fully integrated into the first team in recent weeks. Jamie Redknapp, the former Liverpool player-turned-pundit, believes the 18-year-old's introduction and impact atoned for a tactical error committed by Ten Hag earlier in the Craven Cottage clash.

Shortly into the second half, Ten Hag withdrew Anthony Elanga to bring Scott McTominay into the fray. It suggested a tactical shift from the Dutchman, with Bruno Fernandes being pushed out to the right wing to make room for McTominay in the middle of the park.
But Redknapp suggested that switch presented a problem that Ten Hag then later needed to fix by bringing Garnacho on to replace Anthony Martial in the 72nd minute with the scores level at 1-1 and Fulham in the ascendancy. Speaking on Sky Sports post-match, Redknapp said: "Fulham had played so well second half - they might’ve edged it - but that (change) was a big moment.
"He (Ten Hag) changed it, brought Rashford into the middle and they needed that spark because they lost it when he put McTominay on and Fernandes to the right, Elanga off - it didn’t work.
"They lost momentum, Fulham got into the ascendancy and looked like they were going to win it but you needed it that moment and that’s what that man brought.
"You’ve got to credit Eriksen’s role in it as well. It was a lovely weight and a great finish."
