Cristiano Ronaldo's time at Manchester United did not end positively after his interview with Piers Morgan.
Having been reduced to cameo appearances off the bench, Ronaldo finally had enough and decided to do a tell-all interview with the TalkTV presenter. During the conversation, the Portuguese great did not hold back with his feelings towards United and boss Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo also went on to call out the Glazers and claimed that some youngsters were unwilling to learn from him at Old Trafford. This latter opinion is likely to be disputed by Pellistri though who, in an interview with ESPN before the Ronaldo bombshell aired, explained how the 38-year-old inspired him.

When asked about the current Al Nassr player, Pellistri said: "What most caught my attention about Cristiano Ronaldo? When I saw him I was impressed by him, but yes, he is always one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave.
"Besides, ‘he’s very human’. As much as he is one of the biggest stars that exist in football and in the world, he is always attentive to everything.
"He always greets me and asks me about my injury, as a person he is incredible, as a player we already know what he is." Pellistri enjoyed his biggest achievement in a United shirt to date on Thursday night away at Real Betis.
The 21-year-old made his first start for the Reds as a Marcus Rashford goal secured a 1-0 victory on the night, 5-1 on aggregate. Pellistri's chances of playing may become more frequent in the matches to come after Alejandro Garnacho suffered an ankle injury which will keep him out of action for a number of weeks.
