Chelsea were unable to come away with a victory against west London rivals Brentford but saw Graham Potter's unbeaten run as Blues boss continue for a seventh match. The current Club World Cup holders made five changes from their win over Aston Villa and saw Ben Chilwell left out of the squad completely but still would have had high hopes coming into the match.
It was the Bees that started the better as Kepa Arrizabalaga was called into action to ensure that Chelsea remained in contention in the match, with Trevoh Chalobah and Kalidou Koulibaly both stepping up with crucial tackles as the game went on. Chelsea began to find more control but as the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic entered the fray, none could trouble the scoreline.
The Blues moved on from the game with a single point leaving them in fourth place and a point ahead of Manchester United, who they face at Stamford Bridge this weekend. Before that, football.london takes a look at the moments you may have missed at the Gtech Community Stadium.
