How Christian Eriksen has impressed Manchester United teammates in training

Christian Eriksen has been impressed Manchester United's players in training, according to Anthony Elanga.

Eriksen, 30, agreed to sign for United on a free transfer earlier this month and was officially unveiled on Tuesday. The midfielder trained with Erik ten Hag at Ajax when he was preparing to return to football last year and he has a strong relationship with the Dutchman.

After the transfer was made official, Eriksen admitted that Ten Hag played a key role in him signing for the club. Eriksen has signed a three-year contract at United and he's joined Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez as the first signings of Ten Hag's reign.

Elanga, who started against Atletico, spoke to MUTV after the game and he was asked about Eriksen's arrival. The youngster lavished the praise on his new teammate and he admitted that Eriksen has already made a strong impression in training.

"Yeah, you can see even in training, his little touches and the way he scans around the pitch," Elanga said. "He's a top, top player to work with and really good to play with. You can see his quality on the pitch and I'm sure this season the fans will see more and more of him."
