Could Levi Colwill, Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana all be involved in a transfer domino situation?
With the young Cobham graduate now wanting more regular game time and opportunities after a fruitful first Huddersfield Town spell last season in the EFL Championship, Todd Boehly is set to grant him his wish. Amid substantial Premier League interest from the likes of Southampton and others, there are now two clear frontrunners who are now set to battle each other out for the 19-year-old - Brighton and Leicester City.
Unsurprisingly, both teams have players that Chelsea are interested in so in fashionable Boehly style, a baseball like trade is trying to be organised and structured by the part-LA Dodgers owner. For Leicester's Wesley Fofana, the Foxes are in no need of selling and therefore have placed a whopping £85m price-tag on the bag of the Frenchman.

It is understood that Brendan Rodgers is adamant to block any Chelsea progress in a player whose contract runs out in 2027. More talks are scheduled for later this week between the new Blues owner and the player's representatives, football.london understands.
One idea that has been proposed is adding Colwill in a potential swap plus cash deal but it seems the East Midlands club only want the money in this situation if they were to let go of the 21-year-old.
As well as Fofana, it has now emerged that the west Londoners are looking to perform a Barcelona trick on Man City by nabbing Marc Cucurella under their noses.
It is understood that despite the Brighton star handing in a transfer request to force through a move to the Etihad Stadium, City have since walked away from talks, as per the BBC. They deemed £50m too excessive for a player that has only had one good season to date in the English top flight.
Chelsea, who themselves need versatile defensive options, have now pounced and despite no deal being agreed yet, talks are advancing between the Blues and Brighton. The Seagulls could end up getting Colwill as part of any deal that is to be struck.
That would end any chance of a Colwill-Fofana swap meaning that transfer mission gets even more trickier as Cucurella progress is made. Thomas Tuchel would appear to be highly keen on Brighton's number 3 as he sees him not only as left-wing-back competition for Ben Chilwell but also as competent cover for the left-centre-back role.
