New signing Camilo Duran scored within five minutes for Celtic, on what was a tough night for the Scottish champions in the Algarve.
The Colombian striker, recently signed from Qarabag, equalised for Celtic in their friendly match against Sporting CP. He capitalised on a defensive error to score from close range.
Duran was brought off the bench in the 64th minute, alongside youngsters Liam Kennedy, Thomas Hatton, and Sean McArdle.

Despite Duran's early impact, Celtic suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Portuguese giants. Three goals were conceded within six minutes at the Estadio Algarve in Faro.
Substitute goalkeeper Ross Doohan was dispossessed in the box, leading to Daniel Bragança's first of two goals for Sporting.
Two additional goals in the penalty area sealed the victory for the Portuguese side.
