It continues: "Hosted by the very talented and glamorous Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the show will once again come live from Elstree Film and Television Studios with a one off special live from the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool."
According to the site, tickets will be allocated by random draw. Registration is now open for this year's live shows. You can apply for tickets at any time until 10pm on Sunday, August 28.
The website warns that World Cup football matches are set to impact the scheduling of some of this year's December recordings. It is also noted that:
- Rather than its regular Saturday slot, the semi-final is recording on Sunday, December 11.
- Details of the first December show are still to be confirmed and tickets will be advertised in a separate random draw nearer the time once a scheduling decision has been made.
If successful, tickets are non-transferable and cannot be transferred to another date or a person who is not named on the ticket. Only apply if you are intending to be the named ticket holder. Once tickets are dispatched the name on the ticket cannot be changed and must match the approved ID on the day.
All attendees must be over the age of 14 (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times). For more showbiz and television stories, get our newsletter here.
