How Bristol Airport passengers can get to the Belgium hotel shaped like a bum hole

Everyone loves to explore and try new things during their holidays. But one hotel has gone a step further in offering an unusual trip - by shaping their building into a giant colon.

Guests staying at CasAnus, in Belgium, can even sleep in a bedroom inside the bum hole section. There's a double bed, a table, a shower, toilet, along more factors such as lighting, running water and electric heating, reports the Daily Star.

The creation doubles as an art piece - and is hugely popular. Located in the Verbeke Foundation Art Park near Antwerp, in a secluded field, the polyester structure is artwork by Dutch designer Joep van Lieshout.

Billed as a giant intestine sculpture that you can sleep in, the walls are made to resemble the colon and fade as the interior is clean and white. Prices start from €120 (approximately £106 per night) based on two people sharing the bedroom.

Reviewers have raved about their stay, with many giving the venue five stars. One person wrote: "Once in a lifetime experience! There were some issues with the electricity once we got there but they were quickly sorted out by the very friendly staff! Breakfast and entry to the park are included."

Another wrote: "A very special experience. There is a bed, shower, toilet and sink. No refrigerator or TV. Is nice and free, and in the morning a delicious breakfast, which we got in the restaurant. Very nice people. In the evening we walked around the park to view all the works of art. We liked it a lot."

There are no direct flights from Bristol Airport to Belgium, but a journey with one stop from our city to Brussels will set you back £59. From there, you will have to travel by train to Antwerp.
