We won the league at Anfield, we won it at the Lane, Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford, no one can say the same! A great start to one of the most popular choruses sung by the Arsenal faithful this season but could the Etihad Stadium be integrated after this season?
Arsenal currently sit five points clear of their main Premier League title rivals and have the potential to move eight points clear by winning their next two games against Fulham (A) and Crystal Palace (H) considering City play in the FA next week meaning their clash with West Ham will need to be rescheduled.
Arsenal could even travel to Anfield at the start of next month as far as eleven points clear should the Merseyside club win at Manchester City the week prior. A lot needs to go the Gunners' way but there’s even a scenario where Arsenal could travel to the Etihad on Wednesday, April 26 and record a historic victory akin to the mad away trips of the past.

It should be said for this to happen Arsenal would need their title rivals to go through one mighty slump in form. However, with their responsibilities extending both into the FA Cup and the Champions League, which most would say is the Citizens’ priority this season, you never know what might happen.
After 26 games Arsenal are on 63 points. A maximum of 18 points are available between now and the trip to the Etihad on April 26 from the next six games.
If Arsenal were to beat Fulham (A), Crystal Palace (H), Leeds United (H), Liverpool (A), West Ham (A) and Southampton (H) they would sit on 81 points. Manchester City have just five games between now and then against Crystal Palace (A), Liverpool (H), Southampton (A), Leicester (H) and Brighton (A).
Should City lose all five and Arsenal win all six the points difference would be 23 points. City would have just 21 points left to claim from their remaining seven fixtures meaning no matter the result at the Etihad, Arsenal would have already won.
But this wouldn’t be the historic win Arsenal want. Therefore, should City win just one of their five games with the Gunners winning all of theirs, an Arsenal win at the Etihad would indeed create this scenario… or would it?
Unfortunately, Arsenal would need help from elsewhere in the league too. Mathematically, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and even Newcastle United can still in fact win the league.
Therefore the Gunners would be reliant on all the potential four Champions League qualification chasers to drop points. It can be however assumed that none will likely achieve a perfect run, with Newcastle hosting Man Utd on Sunday, April 2 at least one is guaranteed to drop points.
Whilst we can dream, Man City’s quality and form is sure to see them muster up more than just the three points from a potential fifteen. That said, maybe if we hope hard enough magical things can happen… please?
