In what seems like a soap opera come to life, a 33-year-old American woman travelled all the way from the United States to Pakistan, hoping to reunite with her 19-year-old lover, Nidal Ahmed Memon, but in a twist of fate, Onijah Robinson found herself stranded in a foreign country abandoned and all by her own, with her lover backing out of his commitment due to family pressure and her tourist visa expired. According to the woman's claims, she met Nidal online.
However, Robinson found a supporter in local activist and YouTuber Zaffar Abbas who shared her story on social media which led Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori to intervene and extend support to her.
