How a Vacant-Looking House Can Attract Trouble During Late-Summer Travel
A home that looks cared for often attracts less unwanted attention during vacation. Timed lights, managed deliveries, weather preparation, and trusted neighbors can all help reduce avoidable risks – Shutterstock

Late summer brings one last wave of road trips, beach vacations, family reunions, and long weekends before busy fall schedules return. While suitcases head out the front door, many homes accidentally send another message to anyone passing by: nobody’s home.
