How a 14-year-old American built a nuclear fusion device in his parents’ garage

Most adolescents choose to play games, do sports, or meet up with their peers. Taylor Wilson chose something different. He spent his free time constructing a nuclear fusion reactor. What made this story impressive was not only his young age. What amazed people was the fact that Wilson studied the same principles, which are usually considered to be the prerogative of huge laboratories, governmental agencies, and multi-million-dollar investments.

Taylor Wilson initiated his project in the garage of his parents' house in Arkansas when he was a mere teenager. By the time he turned 14, he had managed to construct a functional fusion device called a fusor. Official statements and scientific literature prove that his initiative was real and grew into a really important project, which, however, had to operate under laboratory regulations and conditions.
