Housebuilding starts at lowest level in 13 years as charity issues warning

THE number of homes which began construction in Scotland is at its lowest level in more than a decade, new figures show.

Statistics released on Tuesday show 15,450 homes were started last year, the lowest since 14,635 in 2013.
