Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has announced a new partnership with the British Army which will see it provide more than 170 homes for soldiers and their families in Gloucestershire.
The company said a “landmark” purchase agreement it had reached with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation - the operator of the MoD’s built and rural estate.- would help provide 176 properties at the Imjin Barracks in Innsworth in Gloucester.
Work on the homes, which will be located at the Whittle Gardens development, will start later this year, with completion due by 2026.
