The committee's Chairman, James Comer, wrote a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, informing the bureau about the probe into Walz.
Comer stated that the investigation is part of a broader examination into the CCP's political warfare operations against the United States and the responses from federal agencies. The focus shifted to Walz after Vice President Kamala Harris announced him as her vice-presidential running mate.
