Fans of 'House of the Dragon' face at least a two-year wait for the final chapter, after Olivia Cooke revealed that filming on Season 4 will not begin until spring 2027, in line with HBO's plan to premiere the last season in 2028.
With the scale of the production and the lengthy post-production process required for the series, the spring 2027 filming schedule fits HBO's 2028 target for the final season. The news is unlikely to surprise viewers who have been following the network's plans, but it reinforces how far away the final season remains.
