Anyone hoping that Tuesday's weather would spark the start of dry spring weather are in for a disappointing day according to the Met Office's weather forecasters.
According to the Met Office, Wednesday will be another unsettled day with sunny spells and heavy, locally thundery, showers after early mist and fog patches clear. Showers will spread eastwards, perhaps forming organised bands, before easing overnight. Light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
The outlook for Thursday to Saturday is much the same, with sunny spells and scattered showers on Thursday Low cloud and early morning fog patches on Friday and Saturday will slowly clear, leaving bright or sunny spells. There will be gentle winds, with temperatures around average.
