Greater Manchester is set to face fierce weather this week with gusts of more than 40mph winds predicted to hit the city-region in the next couple of days.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds in parts of the west with some disruption expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The weather warning, which covers the west side of Greater Manchester including Trafford, Wigan and Bolton, will come into force at 3pm on Tuesday and last until 6am the following morning.
