October Nymex natural gas (NGV26) on Monday closed up +0.065 (+2.30%).

Nat-gas prices settled higher on Monday amid forecasts for hotter US weather, potentially boosting nat-gas demand from electricity providers as air conditioning use rises. The Commodity Weather Group said Monday that forecasts shifted hotter, with above-average temperatures expected across the South through September 28.
