One Merseyside hotel has reassured customers looking to book rooms for Eurovision 2023.

Following the announcement Liverpool had been chosen to host next year's Eurovision, people from across the world have rushed to book accommodation for the famous song contest.

For the weekend of the contest - which takes place on May 13 - Bliss' website has rooms available ranging from £740 for a double room up to £1,010 with with website advising how many rooms are still available. The cheapest room, a double room, is currently listed for £265 compared to the £740 listed for Eurovision night. When asked about the certainty the hotel would still be operating come the song competition's arrival next year, administrators were quick to reassure those thinking of booking the boutique hotel.

Paul Davies and Sandra Mundy, partners of James Cowper Kreston, were appointed joint administrators of Waterfront Hotels (Southport) Limited and Waterfront Southport Properties Limited, trading as Bliss Hotel Southport, on September 28, 2022.

Replying to the ECHO's question about the future, and those looking to book for Eurovision, Paul said: “We are continuing to trade the business as usual whilst we look for a buyer for the business as a going concern. At this time we have no plans to make any changes to the team structure and we will be honouring all function bookings.”
