A hotel in a small seaside town in Wales has been named amongst TripAdvisor's top 10 best places to stay in the UK in its latest Travellers' Choice Awards for 2023. Claiming the title of Tripadvisor's Best of the Best award, The Tynedale in Llandudno came in at number 10 on the list of the UK's best hotels, out of a 25 strong list, which is topped by London's Shangri-La The Shard.
Looking at the volume of 'above-and-beyond reviews' as well as esteemed opinions from the travelling community over a 12-month period, each hotel has been selected based on its high standards having passed the reviewing platforms' "rigorous trust and safety standards". The data was collected based on quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over the 12-month period between January 1 and December 31, 2022.

The Tynedale sits on the seafront at the Central Promenade and as well as a plethora of seaview rooms, the Tynedale offers its Snowdon and Mostyn Penthouse Suites, that have dual aspect picture windows offering spectacular views of the town and far reaching views of Conwy mountain and Snowdonia. And you won't have to go far for a delicious bite to eat as its restaurant and cafe bar have been recommended by industry guide Restaurant Guru this year.

The sea front location offers stunning views , making it great place to stay , we can not wait to go back."
Another added: "First time visit, but certainly won't be the last, absolutely excellent. We only came home today but have already recommended the Tynedale to family....wonderful experience, cant wait to go back for longer."
A third wrote: "Our stay at the Tynedale Llandudno was once again excellent good food clean room with a sea view we had a lovely weekend for the May bank holiday extravaganza weekend would definitely recommend this hotel."
