A hotel in a small seaside town in Wales has been named amongst TripAdvisor's top 10 best places to stay in the UK in its latest Travellers' Choice Awards for 2023. Claiming the title of Tripadvisor's Best of the Best award, The Tynedale in Llandudno came in at number 10 on the list of the UK's best hotels, out of a 25 strong list, which is topped by London's Shangri-La The Shard.
Looking at the volume of 'above-and-beyond reviews' as well as esteemed opinions from the travelling community over a 12-month period, each hotel has been selected based on its high standards having passed the reviewing platforms' "rigorous trust and safety standards". The data was collected based on quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over the 12-month period between January 1 and December 31, 2022.
And on the coast of north Wales, Llandudno's Tynedale Hotel met all expectations with five star reviews from travellers across the board - for the second year running. For more what's on stories, sign up for our newsletter here.
