NHS trusts in England have failed to improve on the hours long wait times patients are facing in emergency departments across the country.
Last month, only just over half of patients, 56.8 per cent, were admitted within the target four hours of arriving at hospital, the exact same as in February and worse than the 58.7 per cent in January.
Barking, Havering And Redbridge University (BHRU) Hospitals NHS Trust; Torbay And South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust were the three worst trusts with all seeing less than 40 per cent of patients admitted within the four hour target.
