Ethan Horvath and Jordan Smith have been sent a message by Nottingham Forest fans as Steve Cooper faces a tough selection dilemma.
The Reds are set to be without number one shot-stopper Brice Samba for the next three matches after he was sent off during the 2-2 draw with Stoke City on Saturday.
Samba was shown a straight red by referee Leigh Doughty after colliding with Potters defender Phil Jagielka in the 95th-minute.
With the Reds having made all three substitutions, defender Joe Worrall was forced to don the gloves for the final few minutes.
It was a decision which head coach Cooper described as a "huge error".
He said afterwards: "He (Samba) knows he’s made a huge error. For all of the mistakes the referee made today, I have no complaints with the red card.
“He’s made a mistake, and it’s nearly cost us."
The red card to Samba, however, means that he will be absent for Forest 's next three matches; Bournemouth (A), Preston North End (A) and Bristol City (H).
Here is what Reds fans had to say about the selection debate for the next few matches...
@jtweets92: Horvath will either be horrendous or prime Shilton in these next 3 games, no in-between
@1865NFFCpy: Personally, Horvath doesn't give me the confidence that Smith gives me. It's ok... He had almost no appearances, but right now we are no longer here to speculate and test, I think we have to play it safe.
@ENG2stars1day: Horvath will be absolutely fine. He is an excellent goalkeeper. Cooper will have quite a quandary when he picks the team for the crucial cup tie versus Huddersfield.
@wilh1985: Horvath. Personally I think he's the better keeper and he's been on the bench.
@JordanHooley3: Honestly not fussed at all losing Samba for the next 3 games, the defence in front of the whoever the keeper is, is so strong, the only thing that worries me with Horvath is him with the ball not his actual goalkeeping.
@Colt_Em: Give Horvath a chance! Yes he made a mistake against Middlesbrough but that was under Hughton and in a squad that had zero confidence.
@d_p_ball: Seen people mentioning Smith for goal instead of Horvath. Smith's contract is up this season and despite him being a good servant probably time for him to move on for 1st team football. Horvath's only 26, it’s time to get behind him.
