COOLVALLA is fancied to rack up a four-timer by beating eight opponents for the Surrey National Handicap Chase (3.00, Nap) at Lingfield Park.
A 19-length score at Fontwell Park on Boxing Day represented another personal best for Chris Gordon’s mudlover and, under the circumstances, an 11lb rise in the handicap could have been worse.
Earlier on, as long as the meeting passes a morning inspection, TWINJETS should have the power to take the Winter Million Ballykelly Consulting Novices' Handicap Hurdle (12.30, nb). Milton Harris' charge was a smart dual winner in bumpers who left his hurdling debut form behind when cosily landing a Leicester maiden in a good time in December.
