Having bagged a four-timer on the opening day of Listowel’s Harvest Festival, Willie Mullins might get punters off to a winning start on day two, with Carrigmoorna Queen expected to deliver in the Irish Stallion Farms Mares Maiden Hurdle.
Paul Townend rode three of the Closutton winners yesterday, including Easy Game - now bound for a Grade 2 at Gowran Park early next month - in the feature and will be on board Queen in a race in which Mullins will saddle three.
Carrigmoorna Queen looked a nice prospect when landing a Galway festival bumper, on her second start in mid-summer and might have the edge over the likes of Come On Du Berlais.

Listowel’s Monday feature is the Liam Heal Memorial Lartigue 4-Y-0 Handicap Hurdle, for which Noel Meade’s improving filly Sheishybrid and top-weight Brazil, winner of the Boodles at Cheltenham, will be leading fancies.
But the Meade-trained Lunar Power, winner of the recent Tipperary Cup on the flat in Clonmel recently and boasting graded form over flights, is put forward as an each-way selection.
We also have flat action in Fairyhouse where Eddie and Patrick Harty’s course and distance winner Coralillo should have solid claims in the featured, Ballyhane Blenheim 2-Y-0 Stakes, a listed event.
Since her win, this filly finished in mid-division in the valuable Ballyhane at Naas and, last time, was narrowly beaten when third to Treasure Trove in the Round Tower (Group 3) at the Curragh.
Earlier, Joseph O’Brien’s twice-raced Native Queen, caught late by Redressed at Navan on her seasonal bow, sets the standard in the seven-furlong Soldiers Call@Ballyhane Fillies Maiden.
