PGA Tour star Aaron Wise was smashed on the head at the PGA Championship by Cameron Smith's wayward tee shot. Wise was on the seventh hole during Friday’s second round, concentrating on his shot from the fairway into the green.
The American’s pre-shot routine took a wild turn, due to the actions of Smith five holes back. The Australian star hit a wild tee shot from the second hole, which flew over to the seventh and struck the unaware Wise on the head without bouncing.
After being hit, the American dropped to one knee for around 30 seconds before brushing off the blow and carrying on with his round.
