A man is in a critical condition in hospital after a horror crash involving a car and lorry.
It happened on the N7 at Rathcoole, Co Dublin shortly after 4am on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the driver of the car was taken by ambulance to Tallaght hospital.

The condition of the man, who is aged in his 40s, is currently described as critical but stable.
A technical examination of the scene has been completed by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
A spokesperson said: “Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred on the N7 at Rathcoole, Co.Dublin on Thursday, 8th December 2022.
“Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the vicinity at the time of the collision are asked to make it available to investigating gardai.”
