House hunters were horrified to discover a one-bedroom flat on the market for a whopping £3.5million.
But red-faced estate agents soon realised they'd accidentally stuck an EXTRA ZERO on the price.
Concerned property seekers thought they had been priced out of the property market forever when the one bed, one bath flat in Islington, London, went on Zoopla for the eye-watering seven-figure sum.
However, when the apartment began to go viral, eagle-eyed viewers spotted that Carlton Estate Agents had put the same property on Rightmove at the more reasonable £350,000.
The property is described as a 'beautifully presented' first floor apartment in a 'well maintained purpose built development' close to the station.
One person described the typo as a 'pretty huge c**k up' while others debated whether the figure was just typical London prices.
However after being alerted to the blunder by journalists, Carlton Estate Agents quickly amended the figure on Zoopla.
Spotting the staggering seven-figure sum, one house hunter wrote: "£3.5 million...for this?"
Another said: "That's about £120k where I live."
A third added: "Jesus H. You could buy several streets in Wales for that."
However, others pointed out that the extra zero must have been added in error.
One commented: "It's just a typo bro."
Another added: "Extra zero in the figure?"
Another said: "Adding an extra zero is a pretty huge cck up. I've seen a few cck up listings - including one where the price went up by £75,000 after three days due to 'significant interest'.
"Yeah, no sh*t, it was £100k cheaper than anything similar. But this is a whole new level."
Another added: "Here it is on Rightmove, a tad more reasonably priced!"
A fifth said: "London, and that's a fantastic long lease. Sighs."
One wrote: "I had to do a double take, the outside of the building looks identical to a one bed flat I rented 2010-2013, but that was in Kingston. Very similar size and layout, I was paying £1,000 pcm."
After being alerted to the error, the estate agent amended the sum on Zoopla to £350,000.
The description boasts: "A beautifully presented one bedroom apartment, arranged on the first floor of a well maintained purpose built development.
"The property is extremely light throughout and has a private off street parking space and use of a large communal Garden."
It also claims the property has 'excellent transport facilities' with fast links to the City and West End.
A spokesperson for Carlton Estate Agents said: "It was a typo and it has been amended."
Zoopla declined to comment.
