Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly forced women into “freak off” sex sessions with male sex workers, according to an indictment released on Wednesday.
Combs, 54, was arrested on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges on Monday after more than 50 victims and witnesses were interviewed by prosecutors.
“Mr. Combs physically and sexually abused victims for decades. He used the vast resources of his company to facilitate his abuse and cover up his crimes. Simply put, he is a serial abuser and a serial obstructor,” Assistant U. Attorney Emily Johnson told the court on Tuesday.
According to federal prosecutors, Diddy, 54, allegedly forced women into days-long sexual performances that he often filmed.
“Freak offs were elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded,” the court papers allege.
The indictment charges claim that Combs would lure women into his life under the guise of a romantic relationship before introducing drugs to “keep the victims obedient and compliant”.
Diddy’s staff allegedly also helped execute his sexual fantasies from a logistics standpoint by booking hotel rooms, arranging travel and stocking up on drugs, lubricants and linen. According to the 14-page indictment, Diddy effectively turned his business into a criminal enterprise.
His victims would allegedly receive IV fluids after days-long sexual encounters to help “recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”
The indictment alleges that Combs would film and keep videos of the encounters — which have been described as “sensitive, embarrassing and incriminating” — sometimes without the knowledge or consent of his victims. This footage, prosecutors allege, could be used “as collateral to ensure continued the obedience and silence of victims.”
Combs’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo maintains his client’s innocence.
“His spirits are good. He’s confident,” Agnifilo said.
If convicted on every charge listed in the indictment, Diddy would face a mandatory 15 years in prison, with the possibility of a life sentence.
