Desert Vipers extended their unbeaten run in ILT20 with a dominant 53-run victory over the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders at the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday. Alex Hales, the star of the match with a brilliant half-century, emphasised the importance of adaptability in his innings.
"The pitch played a lot better than I thought it was going to. Nice to feel in some form," Hales said. Reflecting on his partnership with Dan Lawrence, he added, "A great partnership with Dan to see us through to a good total. Very happy with where we're at as a team."
