The fair will bring a variety of products including gourmet treats. DavilYou

The famous Hope Fair will return to allow shoppers to kick start the New Year with some socially conscious shopping, in the Ballroom of Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel, on Jan 27 from 11am to 8pm.

The fair will bring suppliers of organic, recycled, durable, locally produced, fair trade, environmentally friendly and other sustainable products together under one roof. Vendors will be on-hand to answer questions and share their expertise.

As usual, visitors will get to taste the variety of gourmet treats and delicatessen goodies and treat themselves to some designer clothing and accessories. There will also be kids' educational games, children's clothing, home décor, organic make-up and household products while a free photography session will be offered at Rhizome Creative Studio's booth.

The fair allows shoppers to genuinely connect to vendors, know that their money is going to a good cause, and be part of a warm community of consumers and creators with a conscience.

All the local entrepreneur and artisans participating in the fair will donate to support Bangkok's underprivileged children at the Mercy Centre in Klong Toey. Visitors are also invited to bring unused or gently used shoes, clothes, household items for donation at the fair.

There is no entry fee. The hotel is on Sukhumvit Road, next to BTS On Nut, Exit 3.
