Honor has announced its 2026 flagship phone series in the form of the Honor Magic 8. The phones will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and notably come with a dedicated AI button.

They are expected to be announced in China in October, with a global launch in 2026.

With Qualcomm announcing the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 this week, a number of phone manufacturers have stepped up to confirm they are launching phones using the new hardware. Honor is one of those.
