Honkai: Star Rail is gearing up for its massive version 3.5 update, and the hype is real. On August 2, 2025, HoYoverse will host a Special Program livestream, teasing new 5-star characters, story content, and the all-important time-limited Banner details that every Trailblazer anticipates.
The biggest leaks so far revolve around two new 5-star characters: Hysilens, a Physical Nihility path unit, and Cerydra, a Wind Harmony path unit. Both are expected to lead their own Banners during the 3.5 cycle. If you're chasing meta viability or simply want to diversify your roster, now's the time to start preparing. Thanks to early datamines, the required Ascension and Trace materials for these characters are already making the rounds, allowing proactive players to farm ahead.
