The Honkai Star Rail 1.3 livestream is just around the corner, with news about the RPG’s next round of events, characters, and, hopefully, new plot beats. The livestream will include HoYoverse’s traditional round of Star Rail codes to stack up some extra free Jade and credits, and we already know who the new characters will be this time thanks to some biographical information the team shared on Twitter way back before Kafka even made her debut.

Honkai Star Rail 1.3 livestream - What to expect
We know for sure that three new characters will make their debut during Star Rail‘s 1.3 update. One of them is a big ol’ spoiler connected to Dan Heng that you’ll know if you completed the story so far. The other is Fu Xuan, a 5-star character who sees herself as Jing Yuan’s rival. She’s a quantum preservation character, the first new character on that path since the game launched.
On the 4-star side is Lynx, an intrepid explorer and Gepard and Serval’s youngest sister. She’s an abundance character who also has quantum as her element, and she’s the first 4-star abundance character since Natasha.
HoYoverse is raising the Trailblazer level cap for the first time and mentioned other quality-of-life improvements. Finally, you can expect more updates in the Simulated Universe, including new rewards in Herta’s shop.
