Hong Kong high-rises see scaffolding give way ahead of Typhoon Noul

• Scaffolding on a high-rise construction building in Hong Kong collapsed due to high winds from the incoming Typhoon Noul.
• The incident occurred on Cheung Sha Wan Road on Saturday, 25 July, with footage showing the bamboo scaffolding buckling and crashing onto a building below.
• No injuries were reported following the scaffolding collapse.
• Typhoon Noul hit southern China , including Hong Kong, on Sunday, 26 July, bringing powerful winds and heavy rainfall.
• Reported as the strongest typhoon to make landfall this year, Noul led to the evacuation of over 715,000 people from Guangdong province.
