Residents in west London will have flood defence measures installed in their homes after a burst water main flooded 27 properties earlier this year, forcing many to evacuate.
The flooding in Lorne Gardens, near Holland Park roundabout, saw roughly 600 litres of water per second pour from a 30-inch pipe in the early hours of January 21, with water levels reaching up to a metre deep.
