Homeowner furious as scaffolders 'use hot tub and drink beer from the fridge' at his house

An angry dad has hit out after neighbours saw scaffolders working on his storm-damaged house using his hot tub and drinking beer in his garden.

David Wright says the incident sums up seven months of " emotional stress and heartache" after insurers re-housed him and his family whilst they carried out repairs to his property.

David, 45, his partner Nicola, 45, and their two children, Lewis, 10, and Lauren, seven were forced to move out after part of the roof of their home in Irby, Wirral, blew off during Storm Arwen that hit the country at the end of November 2021.
