Councils across the UK are set to help shelter homeless people and pause bin collections when Storn Eunice batters the country on Friday.
As the storm approaches, local authorities are activating their Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP), which will provide emergency accommodation for those sleeping rough.
Shelters are being opened in London on Thursday evening (February 17) for rough sleepers, mayor Sadiq Khan announced today.
