A homeless man made a final bed for his dog before dying in the night outside a Costa as temperatures plummeted.
Jonathan Ellerington, 41, was well-known in Hull city centre and regularly spoke to shoppers and workers with his beloved dog Teddy at his side.
An inquest into his death heard how CCTV footage showed him appearing to slump and lose consciousness just days before Christmas last year.
