Innes Cameron has inked a new one-year contract with Kilmarnock.
The 23-year-old striker, who has made over 50 appearances for his childhood club since debuting as a teenager in April 2018, will continue his journey with Derek McInnes’ team for next season.
In the recently concluded campaign, Cameron played 16 matches, contributing to the Ayrshire side securing an impressive fourth-place finish in the Scottish Premiership, which guaranteed European football.
A statement from Kilmarnock read: "Innes Cameron has put pen to paper this week, signing a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2025, pending approval.
"The academy graduate made his debut almost eight years ago at 16 and this new contract will see his stay extend at Rugby Park past his 24th birthday."
Cameron joins his boss McInnes by committing his future to the club after the Killie gaffer, who was recently awarded the Scottish Football Writers' Manager of the Year and Premiership Manager of the Year accolades, signed a fresh deal to keep him at Rugby Park until 2027.
Kilmarnock confirmed last week that they are still in negotiations with Liam Polworth, Marley Watkins, Gary Mackay-Steven, Greg Stewart, and Kieran O’Hara, all of whom are nearing the end of their contracts.
