Savvy-shoppers have spotted the perfect Mother’s Day gift in Home Bargains, and they ‘actually prefer’ it to one that costs £20 and is sold out at H&M. The £5 fluted vase has been praised by shoppers for its ‘gorgeous’ look, and is so much cheaper than competitors.
A photo of the budget-friendly vase was shared by Lisa Mcleary to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook page, which sees regular shoppers share their discount finds in supermarkets and popular retailers in the UK.
She posted a snap of the Home Bargains ‘dupe’ next the the H&M glass vase, noting that the latter was £24.99, while a near identical version from the discount retailer cost only £4.99.

And it seems she’s not the only one to have noticed the stunning piece, with many flooding the comments with their own photos of the vase filled with blooms in their own home. Many specifically commented on how lovely they look filled with tulips - which would make a lovely gift this Mother’s Day on March 19.
Rebecca Olney-Ogden commented: “Got one from home bargains this evening. It’s even more gorgeous in real life. Just need some nice flowers to go in it.”
While Louise Lee said: “I have 2 l love these vases with nice tulips.” Another customer, Linda Foran, wrote: “Got it a couple of weeks ago and fab for tulips.”
Claire Louise and Terena Richardson commented on how they think the Home Bargains vase is better than H&M’s, with one writing: “The Home Bargains one looks nicer, too,” and the other adding: “I actually prefer the Home Bargains one as well lol.”
With the H&M vase sold out online, shoppers could get the look for less if they can find the pretty home accessory in their local Home Bargains store.
