Popular high-street store Home Bargains has sent shoppers wild over a rather expensive bottle of shower gel that they are selling in stores for less than a quid.
The budget discounted retail chain has become a hit with shoppers for its range of high quality and affordable designer 'dupes', but this time they are selling the real deal.
Savvy shoppers have noticed bottles of Kiwi Botanicals Nourishing Shower Gel for Women in Manuka Honey scent in their local stores for just 99p, reports The Manchester Evening News.
The best news? This bathroom essential can retail at anywhere around £60 - meaning you can save up to £59.01 if you head to your local Home Bargains.
And it looks like shoppers are doing just that, after one eagle-eyed shopper took to Facebook to share a snap of the bargain to popular money saving group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
The shopper wrote: "For pennies compared to the online price of £60 per bottle of shower gel, I took a look this morning and got this little lot. Not sure how much the body conditioner should be but that as well as the shower gel is only 99p in Home Bargains. Will look in a different store tomorrow to see if they have any other items from the collection."
Many other shoppers were keen to get their hands on the products themselves and had high praise for the retailer selling them for such a low price.
One shopper said: "A bargain ! Tried last night skin feels really soft today."
A second raved: "I couldn’t get the body butter but got the face cleanser, shower gel and body conditioner."
Naturally, quite a few shoppers were horrified at the original asking price and couldn't understand why anyone would spend £60 on a bottle of shower gel.
One shopper asked: "Who would buy a bottle of shower gel for £60? Even Molton brown doesn’t cost that."
Another added: "Those original prices are mad! just proves to me how much profit these big companies are making and what fools we are to cough up the full amount!"
Kiwi Botanicals Range can be found in Home Bargains stores now. Check with your local store for stock availability, as it could differ in each store.
