Home Bargain Christmas shoppers rush to buy 49p 'last minute' advent calendar

It's now December 1, and yes, we are also struggling to believe it's now the last month of the year when only two weeks ago it was definitely June.

But somehow we've arrived at the coldest season of the year and whilst nobody likes the cold, long, dark nights, there is a lot to look forward to, with Christmas certainly one of them.

Whilst kids are eagerly awaiting Santa, they can countdown the days in the form of chocolate. But if you didn't manage to get your kids one - or treat yourself - do not fear as some shoppers have spotted them and they're reduced making it perfect if you're in need of a last minute Advent Calendar.

Taking to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, one shopper shared with the 2.1 million group members that Home Bargains had plenty of Milkybar Advent Calendars reduced own to just 49p.

The Milkybar White Chocolate Advent Calendar is also on sale on Ocado now retailing for 62p from £2.50. The description reads: "Milkybar advent calendar is a great treat in the festive season. With great creamy tasting smooth white chocolate, enjoy milky delicious pieces daily, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives."

Writing in the comment section one said: "Forget the kids. I want one" and we fully support any adult who does.

Another added: "I might have to go get a few more."

"Also come in handy to open up and use the chocolates on top of hot chocolate kids love it" wrote a nifty third.
